Seventh Heaven Inn, situated in the peaceful and popular area of Tapovan, is a charming, traditionally styled hotel/guest house which opened February 2012 and added a new wing with extra rooms and a larger yoga studio and cafe in 2016. It is a 5-10 minute walk from the riverbank temples and ashrams, bookshops and cafés, yoga and meditation centres of Laxman Jhula.
We offer clean, comfortable and stylish rooms, all with balconies and en-suite bathrooms. Deluxe rooms and most of the standard rooms have air conditioning - and we can provide heaters in the colder months. Free wi-fi Internet access is available in all the rooms (though the signal can fluctuate in strength).
Our new more spacious cafe looks over the leafy verandah and serves serves drinks, snacks and high quality multi-cuisine food throughout most of the day.
Seventh Heaven offers many of the facilities of a larger hotel combined with the cosiness and attention to detail of a small one; it has its own comfortable reception area, yoga studio, therapy room, rooftop terrace overlooking the Ganges valley and views towards the Himalayas and many other facilities.
In the vibrant, sometimes chaotic bustle of India, the Laxman Jhula area of Rishikesh offers a refreshing change. Whatever your reason for visiting the cultural kaleidoscope of Rishikesh, whether spiritual, physical or meditative, for a romantic getaway or a place to unwind, Seventh Heaven is ideally placed as the base for your stay, long or short - and we will do everything we can to ensure you have a wonderful stay.
Seventh Heaven is owned and run by Kalam Singh Chauhan, who has many years of experience in hotel management, with the help of his wife, Charlotte, an Oxford anthropologist who escaped to India.
